I was looking for a quite big rucksack as I'm planning to travel for a few months this summer. I found the cheapest option on Amazon with this Linchfield Explorer 80+10.
I received it very promptly, and am very satisfied so far. It is, indeed, big, 80 liters being more than useful if you intend to bring lots of things with you. It seems nicely organized not to hurt your back, and the ergonomy appears me quite satisfactory.
Any weaknesses though? Yes I would say so: first, there's an unfortunate lack of waterproof cover -which I recommend to buy as an extra, except if you're sure there won't be any rain during your journey-. Second, the relatively low quality makes me wonder if it'll resist years of adventures. I would suppose not, and if your plan is to go hiking in tough conditions, you'd better buy something more professional.
Otherwise I think it still deserves four stars, since in normal conditions I'm sure its quality is actually suficient to cope with one's needs, and besides the price is so low it's a very good deal.

I was a little worried at the price of this bag but I tested it out at home and it seemed up to the job of an expedition. I then took it on a 2 month expedition to the arctic and it performed very well indeed! Its a strong bag - I carried it full of kit sometimes with a set of skis on one side and a rifle on the other. It must have weighed over 35kg sometimes and it remained intact throughout. After all that hard use I have torn the inside material and put a small rip in the back but it will be easily repaired and not at all suprising given the abuse it received! Some people on the expedition had bags over £150 that failed within weeks. A great buy.

I have used rucksaks for years now this has to be the best even with a full pack of boney equipment it is comfortuble and well balanced, my only query is the pull straps on the sholders are just a bit shout another couple of inches would make all the difference, but all in all I would recommend this pack to any one good value for the money p.s. buy the waterproof cover as well, well worth the extra

delivery was before promised date. product was up to standard. packing was not very good since box arrived thorn, yet, the content was still in a good condition.
