With 35 mm photo-quality resolution up to 4800x1200 dpi, this USB Lexmark Photo JetPrinter is perfect for digital camera users.

A built-in memory-card reader allows you to upload images from your camera's memory card to your computer with the minimum of hassle--just slot in the memory card and go. Supported memory types are CompactFlash I and II, Memory Stick, Multi Media, Secure Digital, SmartMedia, and IBM Microdrive.

Features include six-colour printing for professional quality results, PrecisionSense automatic cartridge alignment and paper-type sensing, a borderless photo option for several paper sizes and low noise printing. Additionally, the P707 includes Lexmark's Accu-feed system for minimising paper jams, a 100 page input tray and a 25-sheet output tray.

The P707 is quick and easy to set up and is both Windows and Mac compatible. Lexmark Photo Centre image editing software is also included to help to enhance and edit your photos quickly and easily. The printer comes complete with one high-resolution photo cartridge, one high-resolution colour cartridge, one setup sheet, installation software and power cord.

We ordered this printer as we were not happy about the quality of the photos being printed on our 5 year old Epson. The use of the printer, including setup, was very simple and free from problems. Unfortunately the quality was no better than that from our old printer. The colours all looked as if they had been sepia colourwashed and therefore appeared to have a 'rosy' hue. Furthermore, the first three prints we attempted took around 20 minutes PER PRINT to complete, making a total nonsense of the time given by the manufacturer. We decided that this was totally unacceptable and have exchanged the printer for another slightly more expensive alternative.
