The instruction booklet is not particularly clear, however,after you have worked out how to operate the player, and connect to the computer, this is an excellent MP3 player for children. My son is 6 and is able to operate it easily. Sound quality is good and the mini speaker which comes with it is an added bonus. We have upgraded the memory by inserting a 1gb SD card and now have about 50 songs on the player and have loads of memory space still left. Overall very good.
