Bought one of these for work. Despite very light usage, it started working intermittently after about 3 months. Previously, I'd used cheap Play.com usb sticks that regularly went through the washing machine and still worked, so I was under the impression that a relatively pricey model like this would last for ages. I was wrong. Do not waste your time or money. Expensive, cheaply-made junk.

I bought this product from Amazon Warehouse. It was in good condition when bought, but when i tested it using a USB flash testing program, a number of errors showed up. After reformatting it into exFAT (32GB and above, i think) it seems to be working ok. The problem is, Amazon said it had superficial damage to the wrapping and that it had been used once and nothing else was wrong with it. I use this drive to backup all my PC files via USB. Amazon should be more honest in their descriptions. The drive had obviously been returned because it was faulty and the previous buyer did not know how to reformat it.

Device only works with windows 25 July 2010

Bought one of these as the price seemed OK. Wasted a lot of time trying to format for Linux (EXT3) as some crucial memory areas on the drive do not write. Works OK in Windows NTFS. Product packaging only mentions Windows so I guess this is a product limitation, not a problem with my specific drive, and vendors should warn about this.

Lexar USB stick

This was bought for my brother who has to have detailed plans to take to site and he has found the stick extremely useful. So far so good with its performance!
