following on from the full length 'Captain Morgan's Revenge' CD this EP ploughs much the same furrow of all out ballsy folk rock, Touring mates of Turisas there are some obvious similarities though production values don't seem quite so high.Its a nod to the new 'Leviathan' a nod to the past 'Heavy metal pirates' and the downright gimmicky with a cover of eurovision 2008 hopefuls Pirates of the Sea(s)'Wolves of the Sea..its price doesn't tend to reflect the paucity of tracks but it is listed as an EP so fair dues... That aside it's a worthwhile collection and with new product mooted for the new year you have to wonder is this the cestation of an old direction?..To be honest as much as I like this band subtle changes to sound are needed to keep the momentum unless of course they want to be the Status Quo of Pirate metal!!!

I tried to get these cd's in the uk but found it impossible, my son will be elated and they arrived in time for a christmas presentmany thanks

Leviathan is a fitting sequel to the incredible Captains Morgans Revenge. Just enough to keep the appetite for them alive....and looking forward to the next release hopefully by the end of the year.It metal in the form I best rememeber....that is fun and not out for a fast buck. I would thoroughly recommend getting Leviathan and if you don't already have it Captain Morgans Revenge. I'm Looking forward to seeing them Live in Edinburgh soon. Missed the last one. Definitely worth a night out to see....pirate costumes optional :o)
