I read this when it was originally printed in 2000AD. The premise is fantastic. A mile long ship lost on endless ocean. During this voyage, a series of vile murders lead a detective on a course which will unleash the terrible secret of the Leviathan.
The artwork by D'Israeli is fantastic. Incredibly detailed, unsettling and perfect for this story. My only criticism would be that if anything, the story is a bit short, but forget that and immerse yourself in the art.

This is a really good story. The art has a nice film noir style to it, and the writing is really good. Some of the characters have thick accents which could have made it hard to read. Instead, they are done in such a way that I actually hear the different accents in my head as I read. The main story is kinda short, but there are a few extra stories to help flesh-out some of the characters and even introduce a couple new ones. I wish they could have somehow stitched the extra stories into the main one instead of just tacking them on the end, but overall I really liked it. I haven't read a lot of horror graphic novels, but this one has enough style and substance to keep you turning the pages.
