If you are fed up with trying to tackle jars that seem to have a mind of their own (always when you are in a rush to prepare something to eat you can never get the dammed lids off) then this is for you. No more trying to put knives down the sides of the lid and nearly ending up in casualty, and no more arguments over who has no strength whatsoever.

I bought one of these gadgets as I was always fed up of waiting for my husband to come home and enable me to open a jar. (Well men have to be put on the earth for something, and this job is useful).

I would recommend this as it really is a godsend not just for women but men also.

No you don't have to be a wrestler to open jars anymore.

Would make an ideal present/thoughtful gift for an older person to, there must be lots of elderly people out there maybe living on their own and unable to open a jar of their favourite whatever and having to wait till someone visits them just so that they can have a jar opened.

Also a good idea for someone with arthritis or rheumatism as it really does the job without any pain or injury.

A cheap and really useful gadget, glad I bought mine as I have used it and used it a great many times.

I agree with the above reviewer. I bought one for my elderly mother and she can now open really any jar. She has arthritis and her hands/wrists are weak. Its also inexpensive and small, easy to store, etc. Simple, good product.
