This book closely follows the new QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. On the whole it covers adequately the information the candidate needs, however some candidates struggled to find the information they required to achieve the assignments set by City and Guilds. I like the way each chapter is organised to cover the points in each of the Diploma units.

This is a great help, pratically writes the assignments for you (but don't say I said that, shhhh lol.) Got it out of the library after waiting for it to become free- had to reserve it, had it for a month and would love to renew but a big queue of people have reserved all copies! So I'll have to buy my own lol.

Couldn't recommend more highly. Although of course a few things are already out of date so be sure to double check anything about the Vulnerable Adults act and CRB/ISA checks as the regulations have changed etc.

This is an excellent aid for anybody doing their level 3 in Health and Social care. The mandatory units are all covered in detail and a few optionsl ones. Will save hours researching the knowledge requirements and it is refreshingly written in plain English that everybody can understand. Good examples given and scenarios as well as thought provoking exercises that are optional.A 'must have'.

Really helpful. Breaks the units down and points you in the right direction. Saves hours of unhelpful searching on the net.
