This is a great CD to practice maths for the Key Stage SATs test at the end of year 2. I was looking for something to help my daughter (age six and a half) practice her maths and simulate a SATs paper and this is it. The CD is easy to use, allows you to choose any of the topics and work through practice screens. When you are ready you can take a full test covering all the topics. You can take the full test again and again, each time you get 30 different questions chosen from the full range covered in the practice sessions. When you finish you get a score and a time. Then you get a chance to go back and look at any questions that were incorrect and answer them again. My daughter loves it and it seems very close to the SATs papers I have seen.
I bought this CD recently and at first I was happy with it as it worked on my laptop but shortly after we had problems with our laptop and updated to a much better desktop pc. Now this CD does not work on our new computer due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. I paid 24.99 and already when I received the item felt it was overpriced but now that I am unable to use this disk on my new computer I really am disappointed, especially as the disk when it worked was a good help for my son with his maths.
