Letts GCSE National Curriculum Clip Art, 9 Sep 2000

A very useful product to have to hand. As a newly qualified teacher of Science I am having to build up a bank of resources for use in a secondary school. The range of clip art available is extensive, although I feel a few extra important ones have been missed out. I print them off onto overhead transparencies to use in my everyday teaching. They are clear, colourful and extremely accurate in detail. My pupils find them easy to look at and easy to understand, even from the back of a classroom. I have also included some of them on worksheets that I produce. They are suitable for academically able pupils to include in coursework and also for the less able pupils who find drawing and labelling complex diagrams too difficult. They are extremely useful for revision work and suitable for pupils from around 10 years old onwards. The topics covered include: Geography: weather, rocks, maps, physical and flags. History: Britain, WW1, WW2, N. American Indians, Bayeux, Tudors, Normans, Stuarts and costumes Ecology: clip art of many different types of plants and animals Maths: formulae, angles, money, time, measurement, 2D shapes and solid shapes Science: extensive clip art of human body, plants, chemistry symbols and apparatus, Earth, energy, friction, levers, in fact every topic covered Technology: bridges, buildings, computers, transport, architecture and tools Human culture: Christmas, food, music, sport, people and religion. Definitely worth every penny, everyone who has seen the examples have been extremely impressed. A valuable tool for teachers and students alike.
