I've bought a few of the Lett's Explore series for my children to support their GCSE studies and they really are superb study aids. Very easy to read, very easy to find what you need and just incredibly helpful and insightful. Very highly recommended!

Although the Internet has obviously changed the ways in which students approach study, these slim volumes have been the staple diet of students for many years and it still contains a wealth of information on "Lord of the Flies" - story, plot, characterisation, allegorical structure and historical significance.
They have withstood the test of time and, while they cannot guarantee it, they tend to involve more serious reading and note-taking than the cut-and-paste which can be used as a substitute for proper study using the Net. They are produced in a larger than usual format, a attractive feature, and they contain all the basic information and guidance required to deepen a student's appreciation and understanding of this lengthy, complex novel; they are a cut above the usual study guides and are well worth the investment. This has been an examination text for many years now and thousands of students have benefited from Letts' tried-and-tested advice and wide-ranging series.

Firstly this is like a mini book, its A5 size, and contains plot summary, character analysis, answer section quiz everything!
Really heappy with it, and hopefully it will aid my learning at school, although please note this isn't a revision guide to get you off of actually reading the book itself. It is a companion book, therefore if its going to be any use to you you'll need to understand William Goldings LORD OF FLIES itself! Meaning you need to study the book in depth, because this guide only covers the mere basics and relies on YOU comprehending what you already know!
