5.0 out of 5 stars Stand back in awe and just absorb 9 Feb 2012
By Mickey
Format:Mass Market Paperback
There is no accurate conclusion to these letters but you do grow with the developing relationship between the Rilke and the young poet. But this book isn't about story. It's like the young poet knocked lightly on a door for a bit of advice and back came pearl after pearl of rich all inspiring wisdom. Gentle, but forthright wisdom covering all corners of the heart, head and solitary soul. Once read, this is a great book to pick up randomly and read a page or a letter at a time just to pick up those pearls and remind yourself to stop, stare and see yourself and the world in a new way. One for the book shelf (or the back pocket!).
