Worth hunting down and reading 6 Dec 2000
By "kotori" - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is an excellent book, a nice change from the usual regency fare which can get somewhat tedious, but it has a lively heroine and an excellent array of secondary characters. It is along the lines of Patricia Veryan's work, which makes it an enjoyable read for anyone!
A Traditional Regency 17 May 2002
By John Whelan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Traditional Regency, set mainly in London. Charlotte's brother has been working as a spy in France, so with the need for secrecy misunderstandings soon arise.

Enjoyable.

From the back of the
Mills & Boon large print hardback edition ISBN 0 263 15496 3:

He was no fool!

Devon Royce, Earl of Marwood, was content. But when he caught his
betrothed, Charlotte, embracing a stranger, his content vanished,
his honour at stake. The engagement was ended!
But Charlotte persuaded him not to reveal the news, and Devon took
the chance to woo Charlotte again. Maybe this time they'd get it right!
Glittering Seasons ... country estates

Matchmaking mamas...a Regency delight!
