I rarely read non-fiction, prefering easy but contemporary fiction (although I've enjoyed many of the classics) but another review of this book caught my eye exclaiming (and I'm paraphrasing) - In an age of quick-draw, immediate gratification text and email have all but erradicated the 'Love Letter' - so true!
I really enjoyed revisiting the Love Letter and the short little introduction to the author of each letter really helped remind me these women existed in a very real way, reminding me of a time when words meant more than the sum of their parts (c u l8r), more than a mere message to convey, words are everything and as society slowly descends into madness it is the beauty of the word that will save us from ourselves!
Read some real love stories for a change and dip into this book.
