Review

"An essential and delightful family resource filled with accurate, comforting and positive information." Penelope Leach, author of Your Baby and Child"

Product Description

Young children ask so many questions about their bodies and how they were made. With lively language, engaging art and clear, accurate information, this book answers those perfectly normal questions and will help even pre-school children feel proud and comfortable about their own bodies. It is an invaluable resource for parents, teachers, librarians and health professionals to use with children with complete confidence.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent resource, 11 Feb 2009
I'm a foster carer and bought this book on recommendation to help my current foster child learn more about her body and how families are different. It's a very good book for dipping in and out of, with clear information presented in a very child-friendly way. The illustrations are fun and encourage discussion. I'd recommend this book to anyone who works with children. Definitely well worth having on the shelf!

I bought this for my two year old son who is already asking some very awkward questions! Although I wouldn't say the entire book is suitable for him at this stage (we only tend to look at a few of the pages at the moment) I can see it being used more and more as he grows. Great illustrations, no-nonsense information and a sense of humour. Very easy to follow, I probably learned a lot as well!
