Before I get into this album, I want to mention that I've been enjoying this band's music since "We Run" on their 2009 self-titled CD. On their previous releases, there was some pace changing from song to song, with the main emphasis on ballady-type arena rock.
However on this release, only the first track, "Death Rock" and the instrumental "Let's Get Serious" has some different pacing. Beyond that, THE REMAINDER of this album is just mid-paced drums that will melt your ears off!! Their new drummer, Kostas Milonas, ain't doing them any favors. You would think that with some of the songs that the drums could even slow down or change off. Nope! Next comes in the new guitarist, Bob Catsionis which is also a tad lackluster compared to Tony Kash. Not bad, just more average. Ultimately, Chandler Mogel's vocals just can't make up for the lackluster musicians.
So, if you're building some "best of" of this band, go with "Death Rock" & "Let's Get Serious." The rest is plain mediocre and one of the many disappointing releases of 2014.
