Loved it- second book in the series is as good as the first.
Fortune finds herself accused of murder after the return of a cheating beauty queen ( the daughter of the Celia - the geriatric catholic sprinter she beat to Francine's Cafe for Sunday banana pudding) is found dead in her mother's kitchen.
Her two sleuthing partners Ida and Gertie with some help from the recently "freed" Marie and her new friend Ally manage to annoy sheriff Carter while trying to keep Fortune from a life behind bars.
Funny and clever a really good read.
