This book is by far the best book ever written by
Mary Higgins Clark and by any writer at that. The
most suspenseful book I have ever read...you think
you know who killed Susanne Reardon until the final
chapters when you figure out that you are indefinenetly
wrong! A good mixture of vocabulary and skills to make
you frightened. This book is so good because it is
full of suspenseful ideas in Clark's mind, that keep
you on your tip-toes. I was embarrassed when I said
a prayer that night for a character in the book!

Format:Audio CD
I have read many of her books in the past, and thought an audio book would be of the same interest, but I found it rather uninteresting. I would put this on a par with a modern day Agagtha Christie. For me a read rather than listen to.

This is the 4th book from this author I have read and boy have I enjoyed them more with every book I read.
I really felt for Kerry in this book as I wouldn't know what to do if I was in her shoes - and what a twist at the end. I didn't see that coming.

The fast-paced storytelling and likable heroines are vintage Clark, but the story is marred by an ending that manages to be both predictable and inconceivable at once. Read more

is this all there is?
so many holes you could drive a truck through the plot... soft, sappy and silly... is this the best this author can write? i was surprised this wasn't her first book!
