Thank you for this fantastic album - I took the chance of purchasing as I was not familiar with Mark Evans. Definately a great investment, easy listening and uplifting. Look forward to further releases!!

I won't beat around the bush, this is a cracker of an album by a classy singer.
Some stunning new arrangements carefully presented by a wonderful performer.
Some great collaborations too, from some of Britain's best talent.
Give it a go, you won't be sorry!

This morning the postman was my best friend. In fact, I almost kissed him. What did he do? He knocked on my door and handed to me a package of musical delight, Mark's wonderful debut album, "Let the Light In". It really is a feast of musical treasures with delicious orchestrations, some immensely talented guests and sublime singing.
I cannot name a favourite track because, quite frankly, I don't have one, they are all my favourites. He sings with such tenderness, and, when called upon to do so, passion, which makes the heart melt and the spine tingle.
If you are thinking of buying it then do so, you won't be disappointed and I am going to be scoring extra brownie points this Christmas by purchasing more copies for presents.
I'm now off to listen to it again, buy, listen and enjoy.

Brilliant
I have always really disliked Shenandoah - ugh ugh & ugh. Mark Evans sings it and it is gorgeous - HAS to be The best version ever recorded. I think this is the 'standard'. Read more

A lovely, moving album
