Moz v Nancy 19 Oct 2004
By Jane Aland VINE™ VOICE
Format:Audio CD
I came to this single as a die-hard Morrissey fan (and with the A-Side being an alternate recording of the version on You Are The Quarry, with Moz on backing vocals for Morrissey completists it's essential) and it did take me a little while to get used to Nancy's slow phrasing, but her version has grown on me enough that I enjoy this a great deal. A slightly more ballsy production than the more restrained Morrissey version makes for a pleasing contrast, though to be honest both vocals don't really sit together in the mix well. The non-Morrissey B-Side is pleasant enough, with only an annoying use of pitch shifted vocals (how old is that?) in the verses being distracting. I may not buy the album, but this is an enjoyable single.

Divine 30 Dec 2004
Format:Audio CD
This has got to be one of the best recordings, and best put-together packages of 2004. Indeed it is worth purchasing for the packaging alone.
Nancy means every word she sings on this song. Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away. The way her voice lifts and dips. I'd never heard much of Nancy before, always thinking she was bubblegum, was I wrong? If you love this song, and the album it is lifted from, as much as I do, then you will surely have it on repeat. Divine.

PLEASE, Kiss Us, Nancy 31 Aug 2004
By Danny Bohin - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Having heard the recorded version of LET ME KISS YOU, I can say I was blown away. The song is suited to Nancy to a T. You won't be disappointed with the purchase of this CD, nor will you be disappointed with the album (CD) that this is also on, the self titled NANCY SINATRA due to be released September 28. OUTSTANDING!

Nancy is back! 17 July 2004

I was also at the Royal Festival Hall concert in London. A night to remember. Unforgettable.

The new song "Let Me Kiss You" is tremendous.
Ignore the last "bad review", he/she does not know what they are talking about.

The new song is catchy, and is very good.
I hope it is a hit along with the new album.

Nancy is back!
Good luck to her.

I saw Nancy Sinatra perform in London England recently. This experience was quite bittersweet, as the ravages of time were apparent musically speaking compared to when I saw her in 1971 in Las Vegas. Among a mix of old and new songs performed the old were clearly better. One of the new songs is called Let Me Kiss You. It's not especially catchy or good, sounding too busy and trying too hard to sound contemporary.

Overall I found Let Me Kiss You wanting along with the rest of the new ones. They are nowhere near the quality of her 60s music. Run of the mill faire.
