Excellent guitar riffs. Spicy sounds and unique lyrics! I've owned this album for almost twenty years now. When I first listened to it, I tended to gravitate to the songs that I thought would be radio hits (Feels good,Riding on the L&N). After a 10 year storage, and need to hear the blues a rockin, I am now impressed even more with the rest of the tunes. The simplicity of "Put him out your Mind", or the harmonic sounds of "Hong Kong Money", get my attention. "Bend an Ear" is an "EAR" catcher, with a sexy sax and poignant guitar, laced with a Mick Jagger style vocal. But where my tastes for the blues is appeased the most, is by the tunes KeekaSmeeka and Shotgun. With the latter being, by far the best example on this album. It is one of the truest forms of the art I can recall. You just know, when a certain musical sound gives you goose bumps, it made its' mark, and has what it takes to be called a classic! Turn it up! Turn it up loud! And bask in the truest form of Blues Rock. Meanwhile, I'll be cuing up "Shotgun" one more time!
