Big Disappointment --- It's Abridged!

I bought this for my daughter to listen to over the holiday break, but it is abridged so I will be donating it to our local library. The good news is she can't wait to read the only version of the unabridged paperback which is over 1,000 pages. Please label this abridged so other customers won't make the same mistake I did. Thanks!

I spent a considerable amount of time researching which version of this product to buy because I very specifically needed an unabridged version. It was quite disappointing to learn when it arrived that it was abridged, despite no labeling to this effect.

It's a rather old fashioned recording, and the reader's voice for Javert is irritating, but I found it easy to follow. Even with the abridgment it's very long with some highly detailed passages, but it was a great book and worth the listen.
I do wish something was included with details regarding the abridgment, as I like to know what's left out, but you can hardly fault an audio book for that.
