This is a book about magic. It is also pure magic. Grahame Baker-Smith is currently producing the most beautiful artwork that money can buy. I loved the cover for Robert Plant's The Mighty Rearranger. I love this even more. The illustrations are equisite, with something new jumping out at every 'read.' I have bought this for my godson but cannot bear to part with it. (I have convinced myself that it is a little too old for him as there is an element of darkness about this that may make it a little frightening for the smallies.)

The artwork in this book is beautiful and the story is lovely too. My son loves it and now I'm buying a copy for his cousin as well :)
