Can i use AAA lithium ion batteries with this torch? and charge as normal? the nickel batteries that come with this arent great...thanks! 23 days ago
Hi Alan! I haven't had a problem with the nickel but there is a website which explains the various rechargeables which may help: www.battery-force.co.uk. It would appear lithium would be ok but please check.
batteries supplied only last an hour on full charge.put cheapAAA in non recharge lasted 3+hours?? anyone else have same problem 4 Jan 2015
It is difficult to help with your problem without being able to test the batteries before and after you charge them. Try and fully discharge them (leave light on until it is totally done) and recharge them for 24hrs. If this doesn't sort it you will have to replace the rechargeable batteries or you could try a different charger. I would replace the batteries first.
Hello. The instructions say that there should be a green charging indicator to show that the torch is charging. Where is this please? Can't find it 5 Jan 2015
The main green beam comes on torch not the charger and goes off when fully charge.
Is the dimmer seperate from the on/off. I am looking for a torch that does NOT have multiple modes I have to cycle through to get from on to off 22 Nov 2014
Yes it is, the front silver part that holds the bulb has a button at the top to turn on and a lever at the bottom that controls the wide angle or beam and the back part that holds the batteries has a lever that controls the bright or dimmer. Fantastic torch.
