Good Kit, Probably not for Full-Frame Camera, 22 Aug 2009

The kit is good. I especially like the macro adapters. However, on full-frame camera the wide and tele adapters will show up if you tilt the composer lens at all. So, it's probably not great for full-frame cameras, but may work for non-full-frame.

Doesn't work with Sweet 35 or fisheye, 31 July 2011

I bought this expecting all of the stuff to work with the Sweet 35 optic. Well, I failed to read the fine print on the Sweet 35 description and found that the diameter of the threaded ring on the Sweet 35 is smaller than the other lenses, preventing any of these converters from working. Also, you can't use aperture disks with the Sweet 35 at all, which is probably not much of a surprise or a problem, but do keep in mind that it means you can't use the "creative aperture" disks in this kit. So the whole kit is totally useless for a Sweet 35 optic.
It's also worth mentioning that none of the contents of the kit work with the fisheye optic either as the fisheye has no threads. (Not sure how useful the converters would really be with the fisheye anyway.) While you can place the creative aperture disks in the fisheye, the maximum aperture of the fisheye only covers a small area in the middle of the disk, preventing you from using enough of the fancy cut aperture design to be worth anything. (You wouldn't usually be able to tell what disk you even had in there.)

Good addition to the Lensbaby Composer, 26 Feb 2011
By Mark "Mark" - Published on Amazon.com

I purchased this accessory pack for the Lensbaby to enhance its utility and make it usable in more situations and I think that it does that well.
The macro filters come in a nice case and fit the Composer well. One small complaint is that when you screw them onto the front of the optic, you can no longer access the aperture plate and have to remove the filter in order to change it. The filters can be stacked and allow crisp focussing up to an inch (give or take) from my lens.
The main reason that I purchased the tele/wide adapters was to provide flexibility to do group shots in a more cramped environment and/or be able to get a tighter shot without crowding my subject (or when I am forced to be behind a barrier). I have the same minor complaint as I do when using the macro filters... the adapters screw on the front of the optics and prevent accessing the aperture plates. The adapters accomplish the goals that I had well. They are well built, come in nice little cases and screw onto the front of the optic easily. Another reviewer complained that with a full frame sensor these adapters were not useful because you could see the edges of the lens when you tilted the adapter. I have a Canon 50d and to a degree this is true with its aps sensor as well. But I don't think that it is a problem. First of all the effect is more noticable with the wide angle adapter than with the tele. Second, it is aperture dependent and only really occurs with the largest apertures and when it does happen it only does so when tilting the lens quite a bit. Finally, the distortion effect that you get near the edges of the lens may actually be desireable for some photos. In short, not a significant issue and think of it more as a feature to use instead of a flaw.
The third part of this kit are creative apertures but I haven't had a chance to use them yet.
