Product Description

Product Description

Lensbaby Creative aperture disks have shapes cut out of them and drop into the front of a lens just like regular Lensbaby aperture disks. The shape will appear anywhere bright points of light (specular highlights) are out of focus (ie, decorative lights at night or the sun shining through leaves) in an image, and the more you bend and blur your image, the more pronounced these shapes become. This effect is visible through the viewfinder.

The shapes in the Creative Aperture Kit 2 include one of each of the following: birds, diamonds, dripsplat, heart, slots, star, swirly, sunburst and whirlpool.

Box Contains

Includes one of each of the following: birds
sunburst and whirlpool.

Make sure you have the right lensbaby...... 14 Nov 2013

It wasn't clear when purchasing that it didn't fit with the lensbaby spark. So now I have the kit and nothing to use it with.

Should include a case & magnetic changing tool 15 Dec 2011
By Andrea Lythgoe - Published on Amazon.com

While they work well for creating shaped bokeh, these disks just come loose in a ziplock bag - there is no good way to store them or change them since they don't come with the magnetic changing tool and carrying case that the regular aperture kit comes with. Buyers should also know that they are not compatible with the sweet 35 optic. Luckily I also had the double glass optic, but not everyone does.

Yet another interesting thing to play with. 9 Sep 2011
By Omega Man - Published on Amazon.com
This set of disks is relatively inexpensive and makes for some additional stuff to play with. It's not hugely useful for many of the photos that I tend to take though.

I suspect that maybe you could probably create your own disks by cutting up one of those refrigerator business card magnets, but I have yet to try that myself. (Attempt at your own risk.)

Apeture kit 2 1 Sep 2012

It is definitely worth getting this for your Lensbaby. I tried to cut my own with the blank ones but it was very difficult and I ended up wasting almost all of them because I messed up so many times. Definitely pay the extra ten dollars for these because they do their job very well.
Love it! 3 July 2014

I amaze my friends with beautiful pictures i take with these apertures. For the un-initiated, it almost looks like magic. Love it!
