If you love Tim Burton and Charles Addams...you'll LOVE this 22 Jun 2014
By Sean Logan War - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
The cutest little spook in existence. Dirge has captured something in this peculiar series that will absolutely charm you. A cast of characters that are spooky and fun all at the same time Lenore Lynchfast, Ragamuffin (a vampire trapped in the body of a cute doll), Taxidermy (WAY SPOOKY!), The MuffinMonster, Pooty (Minion from Heck sent to retrieve our darling little dead girl but like it here so much and loves his Lenore so much that he stays to defend it...and US from the evil forces of HECK!) and poor Mr. Gosh...who loves his Lenore...but...oh dear...he's not loved back...with extreme prejudice! Well drawn in the simplistic fashion that is perfect for these kind of presentations. But WAIT...look closely at the backgrounds and the details! Not quite as simple as they first appear...are they? Loaded with extra work form the author and fans. This is a much loved series. I LOVE this and also the animations that have been made from the works...see You Tube and the live action version with Avalon Robbins!!!

Roman dirge has definitely tried to do more solid story material for such a silly theme, and it's not bad. I love the first couple of Lenore books but I could see it getting stale if he didn't do what he did. A good read for any Johnny the Homicidal Maniac fan (that's Jhonen Vasquez but similar in the dark humored comic sense).

Named my daughter Lenore long before this series started. Had always looked for things that featured the name. She will love this set in hard cover; perfect for display on her office shelf.
Lenore and Ragamuffin 28 Feb 2014

Loved it. I really like the art work and the stories in it. It even made me laughed. I started collecting all Lenore's books after I read Cooties. Is like chocolate you can't just have one piece. I also like when Roman includes part of his own life experiences. I did order these books for myself to read and I believe some teenagers could read it but these books are not to put your kids to sleep.
Roman has done it again. 19 Feb 2014

So funny and smart! I laughed from the beginning where Roman's friend describes him to the end of the book. The expressions on the characters are hysterical.
