Lenin's Revolution is a well laid out book that offers new source material from which to draw a conclusion. It focuses on Lenin as the powerhouse behind the revolution itself whilst still showing the general picture. It is a step by step guide through the stages that still offers thought provoking subject titles like 'revolution or coup de etat'. Broken with pictures that I feel sum up the feel of the book, it is a wonderful cross between academic text and enjoyable read, a position that is fairly difficult to balance.
