The lost album entitled LEND US A QUID has achieved legendary status with the passing of time and has become THE holy grail amongst Marriott, nigh Rock music, aficionados worldwide. An essential addition to anybody's record collection. The original recordings rejected by A&M in the mid seventies for a solo Steve Marriott album. At the time Humble Pie was at its height and the label wanted more Pie albums. Some of the last recordings to come from the famous Clearsound Studios owned by Steve. Many of the tracks on this album were produced by Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham Features Alexis Korner on some tracks. Bonus disc of an unreleased live concert from 1983.

What a Gem !!! 24 Dec 2010
Format:Audio CD
My Mates got me this CD for my birthday and I was totally over the moon. Its a"Gem". Just really fantastic music performed by one of the greatest musical talents of all time. You may have some of the songs on other CD's but just the two tracks of ANYHOW,I LOVE YOU are worth their weight in gold and the crack with Steve on the CD is great. I had tears in my eyes listening to him. Keep the Marriott flag flying high and buy the CD because five stars are not enough!!!
