I was turned on to Lemsip by the proprietor of a little British specialty shop outside of Woodstock, NY.
Looked for the remaining packets today, and ordered some more, after I had suffered a while with the type of flu
I had when it was recommended: the kind where you mostly just feel tired, with a headache and all over body aches.
I had been taking ibuprofen without much relief until I remembered I had some of this. Started feeling better
after the first dose. Can't say much about how it works with the upper respiratory horrors, cough congestion
etc., because I can't recall using it with that. But if it makes you feel better all over and helps you sleep
you gotta be ahead of the game.
P.S. I see that they have added a decongestant to the formula and "blocked nose" to the list of indications,
which aren't on the old sachets I have. Although I can't say I'm looking forward to my next bout with that kind of
virus I will be curious to so how well it works.

Shortened horrific cold

A Londoner gifted me with Lemsip during the 2nd day of symptoms. At first it didn't seem to help as my nose was running and a hard cough developed. Yet, I slept well which tells me that Lemsip was working. Day 3 my energy was up and down; day 4 I stayed home and worked almost normally; day 5 I felt fine with mild tail-end symptoms. I highly recommend this product.
