The track 'Infotain me' justifies the purchase alone, but the rest of this excellent record is full of enjoyment and surprises. As Mr Thomas says in his review, every note and rhythmic choice beams intelligence.

This is awesome thinking mans electronica. Its like Plaid combined with Jon hopkins but even better. Its a fusion of glitch, pure digital synths and warm classical strings. Highlights for me are the dark jazz like bass of 'beneath fleeting visions', the spooky moon music of 'open top' and the the soaring string infused 'infotain me'. All the tracks are great though, no fillers here and its an album that lasts, you can play it again and again. Highly recomended.

Listening to Ochre's Lemodie for the first time, I could tell there was a living, breathing, distinct human behind the music. Someone I'd probably get along with if I ever met them. There is heart and soul to this music; it truly lives and breathes while it fills your listening area with a warm, rich wash of colorful sound. It's music for the heart, the soul, and the mind, and it'll take you on journeys, help you relax after a hard day, or allow you to focus on your own artistic endeavors. It will become a part of you, like an old friend. A pocket universe of sound.

There are two extremes found commonly in electronic music. You've got music that's extremely repetitive with catchy hooks, and then there's music that's extremely complex but lacking melody and continuity. This album feels perfectly centered between the two. The melodies are beautiful and smooth, yet the rhythm and arrangements are intricate and structured with great care. The result is an album you can listen to over and over without tiring from it. Definitely a must-have for music fans of any background.
