This is an important book and an absolute must for university students. The book fills the void and limited information covered in many other related text.It is an essential piece of text for information at every level for the aspects of lesuire and recreation management in planning, administration and the key management areas. And with this, the fourth edition, covering all the expansion and changes within the leisure and recreation management field is a must.

This text is a valueable text when it comes to recreation manangement. It encompasses all the key issues of sport in society like: Sponsorship and event organisation. It is the key text of many university sport management courses, with many of these having the book as the core text. If you plan of doing a sports management course or are then this is the text to have.
