Once I got these tongs I wondered how I ever managed without them! They are so useful for a whole host of things & of course, will not damage non stick pans. They fold neatly for storage & are just the right size for turning larger items like steaks, chops, chicken breasts but will also handle delicate foodstuffs like mushrooms, onions etc. Dishwasher safe, I am thinking of purchasing another set.

These feel well constructed. There is very little play and the silicone paddles line up with each other perfectly. They are sprung just right and benefit from a decent locking mechanism to prevent them developing a mind of their own and suddenly springing open in a closed drawer with all the problems that entails. They are vastly superior to many of the cheap ones typically found in supermarkets at the sub £5 mark - You really do get what you pay for.

Really pleased with these Leifheit tongs. They are "made in China" as so many things seem to be these days, but the design is good and the tongs seem to be well made too. The silicon business ends mean you can use them safely on non-stick cookware (they don't scratch, unlike metal tongs). There are silicon inserts on the handles, which makes getting a good grip easier. The lock feature is useful and again seems to work effectively for storage. Recommended.
