Yes, this works quite well. I bought it so that tea could stay hot for an hour or so and I've found that it does this well if the pot's full, and even quite well if half the tea is drunk. I have issues though with the aesthetics - it's a bit ugly - it looks like a toy teapot - and you can't give it the good wash it definitely needs. You can't immerse the teapot so that the tea stains on the outer plastic never get totally sorted. If I were to get another I'd get a black one just to avoid this issue but I'll probably go for a stainless steel, double walled teapot next time.

works really well at keeping coffee warm. however water gets into the hollow space around the glass bit meaning that when you wash it it just fills up and you have to take it apart to remove the water. this doesn't affect how it works, just a bit of an inconvenience.
