Legs dance to Elmer's Tune.... and they also dance for me. If anyone still don't know about Mr.Batters, he is the best leg and foot photographer of all time. His adoration and passion for female feet and his master art can be seen in this wonderfully packaged book. (I'm not going to decribe the package , it will be a suprise !) The ladies inside this book encourages you to sniff and lick their beautiful and teasing soles. And you can really feel the smell and taste the aroma of their lovely feet and shoes. It is an excellent book, and it would be unfair to restrict this book only to foot fetishism. It is a valuable art of photography and year's of hard work. You will also live the nostalgia of 50's to 80's.Without a doubt, I recommend this book to everyone who is interested in female feet and photography. You will find so much of yourself inside .....

Elmer Batters' (now sadly deceased) abiding passion in life was for womens' stockinged feet and legs, which he photographed with obsessive dedication thoughout the 1960s and 1970s from his California home. This beutifully reproduced coffee table book catalogues his compulsive fascination with this eccentric fetish. His trademark shot - close-ups of models showing off the soles of their feet to the camera lens - is much in evidence, as is his strong penchant for fully fashioned, seamed stockings. Batters was once described as the 'pornographer of women's feet' - he earns the title well and truly.

If you like toes and hose, this is your book

Elmer Batters does not create fancy, elaborate sets for his models, nor are his models particularly good looking. However, he does know how to pose them (not sexually graphic) to get the best angle on their feet and legs, and from that level his work is honest, straightforward, and very well done. If your fetish runs in this direction, this book (and all the Elmer books) are must-haves.

Wonderful photos but *sigh* SIZE does matter...

If you're into this sort of erotic photography (as I am, having discovered Batters' work in LEG SHOW magazine -- BTW, God is a woman and Her name is Dian Hanson, say it with me, guys...), then getting a book of pure Batters photography is a must. But read the specs on this paperback book carefully! The book is smaller than a deck of cards. In fact, its pages are about the size of the screen of a PalmPilot.
I didn't read the specs very carefully and was hoping for a full-size paperback, not the PostItNote-sized book that I was shipped.
Buyer beware!
That said, it's the only book I know of [other than his CARUSCA SITTINGS similar paperback] that features all Batters' leg/feet photos, and, as I said up front, if you like his work, you know you sort of need to have this. (Who knows, maybe the palm sizing is useful ;-)

I suppose men will think this book is just for them. But it will also appeal to those of us who like wearing stockings and lingerie. It will give us some ideas of how to do it!
