This game was bought for my 8 yr old grandson, who has found it a great way to pass time, loves the music content and the way he can change the characters to form his ideal band. His father also loves the game and all the technical elements within it, they share the same music tastes so he also loves that but they get different enjoyment from the various aspects of the game.
All in all a very worthwhile, much loved and much used game, all they need now is their own DS so I can have mine back!

Hours of fun and "look what I've done" from my 8 year old son. He seems to have really taken to this game and has had a lot of pleasure from playing it. My 11 year old daughter and 3 year old son also seemed keen to have a go.

I did enjoy this game a lot, but the main problem I have is the 'band groove' thing which means you have to continually switch instruments during songs. It makes it quite hard to get into the mood and feel like you're actually performing the songs.

I'd recommend it if you've run out of Guitar Hero games on the DS but apart from that GH and Rock Band are slightly better than this
