if are hoping for a lego star wars or legop batman / indiana jones type of game, then be aware that this is nothing like them. more a pokemon overhead view set up. lots of reading required so not for kids wh are not up to that .. unless you dont mind being asked 'whats he saying now dad?' every 2 mins! the dvd was handy -- 4 great episodes of animated cartoon ( 40 mins) that makes sense of the game in many ways. both the kids and I enjoyed the dvd.
the other lego games have been played to death from start to finish.. this one was a bit too much for out 7 yr old and he gave up on day 2. still a good game for older kids. | enjoyed it! ;). pirates of the caribbean a different matter .. looks like the usual lego format . looking forward to that.

I bought this as a birthday present for my son as I know he enjoys the Lego DS games and has recently bought a Ninjago lego kit. He loves it! He says it's quite challenging but fun. What he really appreciated was the DVD that came with it!

My son has enjoyed this game and loved that it came with a DVD. The DVD is good because they can get a feel of the storyline before playing. Would recommend to anyone who likes lego and lego games

Perfect for boys of all ages
