About the Author
Isabel Wyatt was born in England in 1901. She spent many years teaching young children and was then, until her retirement in 1965, co-director of studies at Hawkwood College in Gloucestershire. She compiled many books for children, including The Seven-Year-Old Wonder Book, The Eight-Year-Old Legend Book, Homer's Odyssey, King Beetle-Tamer, The Book of Fairy Princes and Norse Hero Tales. She died in 1992.

i haven't read it yet but when i look up books about king arthur it never tell of his childhood with Merlin. i think that if this author wrote more about his childhood more people might read it,i sure would. i love the part about when he pulls out the stone. i think that they should add a lot of emotion in tht part because it reserve it. so that's i think so people consider it, thanks
