The Pratchett story features Granny Weatherwax, so the expected good yarn. Insight into another area of Pern Life is given by the indomitable Anne McCaffrey. A good short story from what is turning out to be a great series by George R R Martin. I have never read the wheel of time series, or anything by Tad Wiliams before, but I enjoyed the stories enough to want to read the more. But I would like to read the Feist, King and Scott Card stories too. Where are they?

A truely delightful collection of short stories from the masters of the art of fiction and fantasy. McCaffreys Runner of Pern takes you once more to the charming world that so much captures your imagination. Terry Prachett again fills you with delight and laughter with his short tale from the witches of Discworld. George R R Martin introduces a new series full of hopes, betrayal, love, and honour. I can now count him as a must when choosing books to read. Feist catapults you into the Midkemian world of the Rift War Saga. A truely fabulous series with enchanting characters that I love to read again and again. To all Science Fiction or Fiction Fantasy lovers Legends is a must. It gives you a little taste of the best and will leave you craving more.
