Format: Audio CD
This album covers most of his best songs such as "Mad Dogs And Englishmen", but the most notable expectation is "Mad About The Boy". I like it since it gives you a good taste of his ability to depict things in a witty, comical or emotional way that we can all associate with, and in a manner we may have never thought of ourselves. However I think it is poor the way that the album combines brief moments from a few plays with the rest of the songs. I also don't like the way it concentrates on the 1930's and largely ignores work from the other decades. I would recommend this album to people with open minds, that like songs for the meaningful lyrics, and like listening to W.W.II style cabaret music. With 22 tracks it is excellent value and comes well presented in a hard-back case, which gives you a fair bit of information on genius Noel Coward.
