When I was younger, I could never find any books related to fairytales that were actual big, long books. It wasn't until about second or third grade that I discovered some retellings I loved. Now that I'm in high school, I read Fables, the graphic novel series about fairytale characters living among humans in the modern-day. I was never just interested in fairytales, but even now, I still have to read some.

Legendary is a wonderful story. I loved it. I read a lot of highly obscure comics that have a small amount of weirdness to them and Dillard adds the perfect amount to his writing. Fairytale creatures+ archaelogival dig+ conspiracy= best story ever. An archaologist is hoping to get rich quick from a dig. He believes he has found the skeleton of a supposedly non-existent mytological creature. Now suspense. Then when he is about to send the photos back to his boss, some woodland creatures get really angry....
