5.0 out of 5 stars One in a million 25 Jan 2010
Format:Audio CD
I'll keep this simple, and to the point. This album is a collection of past singles from RA the Rugged Man recorded solo and with other artists. Each single is outstanding with 'Uncommon Valor' being a master piece. RA flows like Biggie (Biggie referred to RA as the best rapper alive in an interview), he carries a great flow with his vivid lyrics and takes the listener on a journey of his experiences. He also uses humor to get his points across. All I can say is if you do not have this album in your collection, you are sleeping on one of the best compilation albums released in the last decade.

this is a mixture of his classic joints and 'lost until now' records spanning over his 18 year career which proves why he's one of the all time greats in hip hop...
you can easily bump this album all the way through without feeling the need to skip a track,
although my favourite tracks on this album are Kings, Give It Up, Supa, Renaissance and L.I.'s Finest...
album features The Notorious B.I.G. and for those who love Biggie and don't know of R.A., when Biggie was asked what he thought of R.A. in a magazine interview he replied ''Damn, I thought I was the Greatest''

this also comes with a dvd with track by track commentary by R.A. of the whole album (which helps you appreciate the songs more once you listen to 'em after watching that). The DVD also features live performances, interviews, 5 or so music videos and the trailer to his new film Bad Biology...

5.0 out of 5 stars Disturbingly Genius 15 Dec 2009
By Mr Flux
Format:Audio CD
Never judge a book by it's cover, they say. In this case, do. R.A raps like he looks. He's uncomprimising, off-the-leash savaging, disgusting and utterly brilliant at his chosen profession.

"Uncommon Valor" (Minus the flem-tickling voice of Vinnie Paz), "Smithhaven Mall", "Poor People" and "Every Record Label Sucks ****" should give the untrained ear a shock and you will be safe in the knowledge that you are listening to the best rapper on earth. His rhyme scheme's are flawless, his style unique and his lyrics brutal.

Don't think, buy it.
