Well worth it!!! 18 July 1999
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
The book is great and I'm glad I bought it! It wasn't easy and cheap for me to buy Dragonlance novels all the way from USA and since I can't get it here in M'sia anymore, I guess I have no choice. I picked a few I could afford at that time and this was one of them and I really liked the way Mary H. Herbert wrote this book and portrayed Sara in such an interesting way. My impression of Sara before this was a very boring person being Steel's mom and kinda like a background character who's just there cos they needed someone to adopt Steel. However, Mary wrote in such a way that Sara was actually a really great and honorable character in the book! I like Cobalt too! Anyway Mary, thanks for being a great author! You made this book worthwhile my money!

Blue Dragon and you 11 Jun 1999
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Well I can't say that I am one to write long reviews but I do have to comment on the heart that the dragon Cobalt had in this story and the relationship that he and Sara shared, it made the story have a certain edge to it that I had not yet seen in the dragon lance series, I hope to see more of the warm side of the dragons in the future.

A brilliant story magnificently executed in this wonderful Drangonlance novel. Reading "The Dawning of a New Age," I was skeptical in the choices of authors for ushering in the 5th Age. I had my doubts about this book, but they were quickly vanquished as I became more and more absorbed in the story. Tales of honor and justice, the pains of the past and the hopes of the future, all beautifully intwined in this novel of the adopted mother of Steel Brightblade, Sara Dunstan. A **~MUST~** read for any Dragonlance fan. Take my words for it, Mary Hebert did such a brilliant job that I did not want the book to end. I hope she continues to write many more novels for Dragonlance.
