It's heavy going but it is worth buying (if you can find it). The benefits of the legacy of Islam is reaped everyday by just about everyone in the West. In all the fields that made the west, it is really scary the dedt that is owed to Islam.

This is a wretched Kindle rendition of an old and excellent book. There are many errors in copying, no links at all, and a hundred and one pages missing: the last page of the chapter on literature and the chapters on mysticism, philosophy and theology, and law and society (the reader is informed of the gap by a parenthetical note). Also missing is the original work's index. I had hoped for something better.
