Great boots! I originally bought them for riding the motorbike in, however, since I need steelies for work, I'm wearing them there instead! I've got really wide feet, and even regular converse don't fit, so I didn't hold out much hope for these, how happy was I to find out that even my hairy toed troll feet would fit in them!
Backs of them are pretty stiff as you'd expect, but as I rarely lace all the way to the top in this type of footwear, it leaves plenty of movement space.
Like someone else, I scratched the toe on one of them almost instantly (getting on the bike on the way to work), and a bit about 10mm square came off. That sucks, but, I'm hoping a quick spray of plasti dip will sort that out, failing that, I'll pretend it's a war wound of some kind.
Lots of positive comments off mates, and while I'm only a 10, shoes can tend to look like I've slipped my plates of meat into a couple of the Norfolk Broad's finest barges, these however look pretty damn good, and I have no desire to don a round red nose, pink wig and oversized trousers.
Treat yourself to a pair, if you do light site work and need the toe caps they're a great alternative - but obviously no sole or serious ankle protection. If you're thinking about buying so you look like an extra from a californian skater boy punk rock band, these are probably not what you want as the steel toecaps may be too heavy for your skinny emo legs to lift - could be a workout though!
I'll deffo be purchasing more and pretend to be 20 years younger than I actually am.
