5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious!!, 22 Oct 2008
By J. D. Arnold - See all my reviews

This little book is packed full of delicious, authentic tasting recipes which are easy to follow and reproduce. My husband, who NEVER cooks, loves making the lemon & garlic chicken for the BBQ and my favourite are the meatballs with lemon, yoghurt sauce.
Mouthwatering soups, salads, dips, meat or veggie dishes, finished off with yum desserts all of which are light, healthy and full of fresh ingredients.
Although these books are published in Australia, the glossary in the back provides a clear explanation in the different terms (i.e Zucchini = Courgette).
I learnt to cook with the Australian Womens Weekly and thoroughly recommend any of their books.

5.0 out of 5 stars lebanese cooking, 10 Jul 2009
By izzy (england) - See all my reviews
I bought this book originally because I love the Australian Womens Weekly range which allows you to try different cultures by always picking a variety of easy tasty recipes. Just the same I was really suprised that Lebanese food is (if this truly authentic) absolutely scrum. Another winner from th AWW. I have already tried 4 recipes over the last 3 days and have yet to be disappionted. A good mix of both veggie and meat dishes.
The only downer is that the book is a bit more of a 'booklet' which only contains 42 recipies. its a shame the size wasn't made more evident before sale.

2.0 out of 5 stars ok'ish, 18 April 2009

Be aware that this book is only about 14 cms x 10cms and only has a few recipes. Sort of thing you might buy at a Summer Fete coz you feel you ought to.
