The highlight of this cd in my opinion is the remix by Andrew Dawson,absolutly superb and a track i cant stop listening too.Haunting,atmospheric,it has it all.Fantastic!

This little gem from the world's greatest music act of all time is pet shop boys at there best and it shines brightly as a pure work of art.
These guys just get better and better and no signs of bidding farewell to the fame game and that suits me down to the ground long live Tennant and Lowe and thank you to them for being the soundtrack of my life i am 45 and i shall always treasure their moments like a precious work of art.
I love all the extra tracks and all are good enough to eat pet perfect 10 out of 10 petheads must say YES, look forward too seeing the guys on tour next year with my loving fiancee Wendy its her first time its a few for me i want more.

Leaving is a lovely song, even if lyrically it sounds on the surface a rather odd choice for a single release. if only Parlophone had promoted it better - I only found out about this single by accident. Three good b-side tracks too. Tops for me is the Baby demo from 2003. If you know "The Most Incredible Thing" ballet score that Neil & Chris did, then this is the music on the radio that the princess dances to in her bedroom. Nice to finally have the whole song released. In His Imagination sits firmly within the tradition of "leaving home" songs and is a worthy addition. Hell is Neil Tennant at his driest, imagining the world's dictators (and Fred West!) rubbing shoulders in Hell and making room (eventually) for Robert Mugabe. The companion remix CD release (with a great Neil pic on the front) isn't so hot in my opinion. The Lost Her Love remix (also on the vinyl 12") is 11 mins of sub-Trouser Enthusiasts stuff that sounds very dated.

"Hell" is becoming a favourite b-side of mine...very funny and clever as only they can be.
"In his imagination" is too close to my own life for comfort(lol) hence how touching I think it is (especially the reverbed vocals at the end)...
"Baby" is pleasing enough but sounds like PSB on auto-pilot.
Another top notch EP from the boys.
Can't wait for the next single!!! (Hopefully "Memory of the future")

I will begin by saying I bought the physical singles package from the boys' website as all 3 were on an offer.
This is an excellent single - worth it for the b-sides. "Hell" is particularly enjoyable, whilst "In his imagination" seems to be speaking for the disillusioned younger generation. "Baby" is immediately familiar as it was used in their valet "The Most Incredible Thing".
The fact that it narrowly missed the Top 40 only goes to show how there's no accounting for taste in this country.

this is a great single plus the extra tracks (formerly called B-sides) are total A-side quality ~~~~
