Shiv Malik started his career in investigative journalism. He has written for publications including the New Statesmen, the Independent on Sunday, the Sunday Times, and Prospect. In broadcast he has worked extensively for the BBC and Channel 4 News. He is regularly asked to give comment on radio; PM, The Moral Maze, Jeremy Vine Show, and TV; Sky News, Channel 4 News and Newsnight. He lives in London. He is an atheist.
