It will not win any awards for imaginative cuisine nowadays as it has moved on by some 20 years. Bu they are excellent and honest recipes of the style I learned whilst training.

Really interesting book and I've started using the recipes already and am delighted with the results. Highly recommended. Just sorry I didn't visit the restaurant.

I have had a copy of this book for many years I purchased this one as a gift for my Son. It is precisely what Italian food is all about simple food simply cooked using the freshest local ingredients available. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a true taste of Italy and Italian food.I have eaten many of the dishes at the Walnut Tree when Anne and Franco were there and they really translate very well from the recipes in the book.

Lovely recipes, worth it for the Vincisgrassi alone! Everything I've made so far has turned out beautifully. Definitely worth the money.
