This CD is awesome. Great to finally have an indie compilation without loads of filler, was impressed with the inclusion of new bands like the long blondes as well as the killers etc. If you want to know what's hot in the world of indie dance today this is the perfect compilation. The inclusion of a mixed CD shows how far ahead this compilation is compared to other efforts.
If you liked the Optimo kill the dj CD this should definitely be your next purchase!

I bought this on a whim last week, mainly encouraged by the great choice of tracks featured on the album where established bands such as the killers are sitting alongside new acts such as the long blondes. It's a really great compilation, streets ahead of the usual indie dirge and the inclusion of a mixed CD means it's perfect for parties also. I would totally recommend this album to all.

Shell Out the Price for an Import and Dance Your Life Away...

I was hesitant to buy this because of the price, but I am SO glad I did. Every single track is a fun, fresh, indie dance track that is fun to listen to in the car or with friends. If you're not very familiar with the British indie music scene right now, then this 2-disc set is the perfect place to start. Bloc Party, The Rakes, The Long Blondes, and plenty other buzz bands are featured as well as North American superstars The Killers and Death from Above 1979. It's just a really great album to put in your player anytime, especially if you haven't heard it for a while.

You cannot go wrong with the sheer volume, variety, and quality selection here of the coolest indie rock/dance/electro floor-fillers here - from lo-fi rawk of CAZALS, FIERY FURNACES, or THE KILLS to the amazing remixes by MYLO, PHONES, WHITEY, plus mainstream crowd-pleasers like BLOC PARTY and KILLERS, this is the a great-value package all the way around, that might cost you $200+ if you tracked down all the rare import 12"s - guaranteed to rock a party right!
